KOREAN STEPS IN SKINCARE ROUTINE
skin types are what we are born with so cannot change that but we can change it to keep it under control. To keep it normal we should follow some skincare Routine, It is never too late to start a skincare routine. Never say never. Choosing your skincare products can be a little tricky. once you find the products that works for your skin it would be a game changer.
Here we are going to discuss about korean skincare and their flawless beauty. korean are famous for their flawless skin and definitely it has comes with a skincare routine. Although they follow a intense 10 steps skincare routine they have got the ultimate results.
When we asked korean about the 10 steps they said once you are into it, it will be normal process and does not take time to follow it than you are used to it. For a person like us who is thinking about korean skincare we may feel confusion what to apply first and what next and next. To make it clear we make this post in a simplified way.

korean 10 steps skincare Routine does not mean to apply all at morning or at night you can apply some in morning and some at night. The main thing of korean skincare is you should have regular skincare routine about keeping your skin clean and making it hydrated.
Morning Routine:
Step 1: Cleanse If you have combination or dry skin avoid double cleanse. Cleanse with gentle cleanser to start your skincare routine. Avoid cleansers with salicylic or glycolic acid if you have dry skin. If you have a oily skin and prone to acne you can choose gel type or water based cleanser, foaming type . Avoid cleansers with salicylic or glycolic acid if you have dry skin . Also while buying a cleanser it is good to select the PH balancing cleanser. Note: Double cleansing is suitable at night time skincare Routine when you need to clean heavy make up, pollution, sweat that are hanging all day. For acne prone skin and oily skin it is better to look for a products which is sulfate free and has a comedogenic ingredients.
Step 2: Toner This step in preparation stage of your skin to make it able to absorb the serums, hydration. cleaning the outer surface of your skin by maintaining the Ph level of your skin is the main task in this steps. Just take few drops of toner in cotton pad or hand according to your skin types and pat into the skin or gently swipe over your face.
Step 3: Essence/ Serums: This step is initial stage of your skin first absorb the ingredients given to it. essence/ light serum is like a water which is used with hands and pat them. It is ensuring that active ingredients are absorbed by the skin types to make it hydrated and re-balancing your skin. The products are differently used by different skin types as per the requirement of your skin. Both serum and essence can be applied according to the nature of your skin. take few drops or into your hand and pat into your face.
Step 4: Facial Sheet Mask: Apply the sheet mask according to your skin types leave it for 15-30 minutes. If you are doing in morning this time can be lesser from10-20 minutes while if you are free you can elongate the time. Also in korean mask there is always a liquid remaining in the pack, don't waste them either use them repeatedly or use them in neck area. This steps can be repeated day and night if your skin needs much attention. If your skin is Normal you can use facial mask twice- thrice in a week. Note: It is better to use facial mask steps at night.
Step 5: Eye cream: Eye cream according to your needs, if you have dark circle use according to that, if you have an aging use anti-aging. It depends what benefits are you looking from, apply that type one. As the eye area is delicate make sure to keep it hydrated.
Step 6: Moisturizer: It is recommended to use light weight moisturizer. This is a crucial steps if your skin is prone to acne or oily skin , you should find moisturizer which is oil-free, water-based and non-acnegenic (doesn’t cause acne), non-comedogenic (doesn’t clog your pores).
For oily skin you can look for those
- Glycolic acid – Reduce excessive production of oil and prevents clogging of the pores.
- Retinol – Increases collagen production and Balancing.
- Hyaluronic Acid – Incredibly light ingredient but also moisturizing.
- Niacinamide – Improves the quality of the skin.
Step 7: Sunscreen with SPF higher than 30 : What i most liked liked about korean sunscreen is, it does not cast white and very light and seamless absorbability which is what most people loved about korean skincare products.
NIGHT Routine will be 3 steps and repeating of few morning steps which isn't a tough actually.
Step 8: Cleanse with oil based cleanser

step 10: Exfoliate: This step also can be skip and can be done 2-3 times in a week, if your skin is oily and if your skin is dry it can skip to 1-2 times in a week. choose exfoliation products according to your skin types.
